Man on Cliff

I selected the light part of the sky and i used the levels adjustment to make the sky a little darker. I also selected part of the background and used the levels to make it a little darker so it would actually blend in with the sky. I also used the levels to make the cliff and man darker so it looked like it is a part of the picture. I then selected part of the cliff and made a copy of it and i covered part of the man's legs with it. I then selected part of the background and i made a copy of it and covered the rest of the man with it. I also had to bring the brightness down a bit so it would blend in with its surroundings.

First thing i did was i drew a cartoon of a man and then i scanned him in to the computer and i put the drawing in Illustrater. I used the Pen tool to make my outline. Blending Homework II

The first thing i did was to create the grid so that it looked like the origional. I made a copy of the grid and i moved it over so it looked like it had a 3 D effect. I also used the ruler so i could get as close as the origional. I decided to work on the push pin first and i selected the pushpin and i used the eye dropper to get the right color. I used a hard brush first and i went about half way and i chose a different color for the bottom. I then used a softer brush and i moved the opacity down a lttle to try to blend the colors together.
I went to the grid and i turned the side grid off and i concentrated ion the front view. I used the eyedropper to get my colors and then i used a soft brush and a low pacity to blend my colors. I then turned the side grid on and started working on it. I selected one square at a time and i would blend the colors together and then i would move to the next square.

Blending colors and creating brush presets

The blending project i used the eye dropper tool to get the right color and then i would hold down shift so i would draw a straight line. When i was done with the colors, i would go back to the colors and i would play around with the Opacity so i could try to make the colors look as though they were running in to each other.
The apple project i copied and pasted the apple on the left in the front center of the two apples. I then used the eyedropper tool to get the right color from the apple on the right and i basically played around with the Opacity until the colors looked like they were running in to each other.

I went to the internet to look at some images that i could use as a brush. I decided to go with holiday style brushes since it is that time of year. I made a brush, and brush preset of santa and his sleigh, Pumpkin, Turkey, Stockings, and my name. I first imported the image to photoshop and then i select the image using the magic wand tool. I then clicked on edit and the define brush preset and then i went to my brush pallette and clicked on save brushes and i did that to all 5 brushes. I also created 5 brush prest by playing with the shape dynamics and the other features that the brushes come with.

Color Correction

I took a picture of people crossing a street and i thought i would make the area and the people's clothes look a little brighter. First thing i did was the brightness and contrast and i brought the level down a bit. I also used the levels and i played around with the controls for a little bit until i found something that i liked. I also used the curves to make the red coat, bag, and taxi a little redder.I used Hue and saturation to bring out the colors.I also used color balance since i was mostly worried about having a brighter photo. I finally gave it a photo filter to make it look like it was actually taken during a colder part of the season.
